Tuesday Toddler Art Time Ages 15 months to 3 years 10:30 - 11:15am
Tuesday Toddler Art Time! Join us
every Tuesday this month from 10:30 to 11:15 for toddler-oriented
stories, socializing, play, and (often deliciously messy!) material
exploration and art projects. $4 a tod. Sign up through facebook,
emailing, or calling Mississippi Treehouse. 15 months-3 years welcome!
*We can encourage older kids to come especially to the Valentine's Day one. "15 to 48 months?"
Toddler art: February
February 7: Hands Can! Can you clap? Play and instrument? Smoosh play dough? Fingerpaint? Let's give our hands and fingers a workout today doing all of these things and more as we make art with our hands and with many different textures.
February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! Celebrate with pink play dough, collaging on heart shapes, and making envelope art.
February 21: Rub a Dub Dub! All this rain calls for a rubber ducky theme! We'll play with rubber ducks and other toys in in water, read books about rubber ducks, and glue rubbery foam pieces to a big duck shape to make him yellow!
February 28: Today is usually the last day of the month... not this year! It's a Leap Year, so let's celebrate our leaping, ribbitting friend, the frog. Stickers on a frog shape, counting games with lily pads, and water play today!

Sarah
Fagan has spent two happy years as a Toddler teacher in Boston, Mass.
before coming to Portland and completing an art degree at the Oregon
College of Art and Craft. She is now offering Children (and some
adult) art classes at different venues around greater Portland and is so
excited to be working with toddlers again at the Treehouse.
